iCheckbook 1.7 is Available

iCheckbook 1.7 is now available to download on the App Store and contains the two following bug fixes.

1.) Thanks to Lorrie, we have been able to recreate and fix an issue that has been stumping us for months and causing iCheckbook to receive a few negative reviews about the math/formula being wrong. In previous versions of the app when you went to edit a transaction and set the balance to $0.00 it would cause the account balances to become incorrect. This was because we were resetting the the previous balance by the original transaction amount to allow a new amount to be entered. However, the amount is required so $0.00 is invalid and the updated $0.00 transaction is never be saved. In this scenario we should wait to reset the account balances until after the updated transaction has been validated. This has since been resolved.

2.) With the release of iOS 5 iCheckbook was renamed to CheckBook1 on your device. This has been resolved and is now back to iCheckbook.
