After many months of research, design, development, user interface and performance testing the iCheckBook application has finally been submitted to the App Store!

This has been an exciting project for us and we are very optimistic that many will find this a very useful tool to help manage their finances. While living with this app for a while to ensure that it was well tested we discovered a few unusual, but very helpful usages. While traveling across country with a few friends we used this app to keep track of how much everyone contributed towards gas. We just created a new account for everyone and tracked each transaction. We even put in the mileage, gallons and miles/gallon in the memo field. Then, after the trip, we just exported the transactions which sent everyone a spreadsheet with all the information. Everyone thought this was so cool and it took hardly any time keeping track of everything – we just entered each transaction as we were filling up.
